Hey guys - I calculated the arrival date for the books I'm ordering through Blurb, and in order to get them in time for the show's opening (literally JUST in time..), I have to order them tomorrow. Yikes!!
So any additional advice about the cover would be SO SO SO appreciated, but either way I have some good ideas. I'd just really like to come across that "ah-ha" moment...haven't hit it yet.
Yeah, I had this moment earlier too! I'm really not feeling too great about it since I'm a lot farther from being done than I thought I would be by now!
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, I was thinking I really like the one with the faces, since it gets at the people behind the mods rather than the mods, but I totally see how it doesn't give me enough information about what's inside. So— what about a combination, with images of the faces along side one of their mods, a mixture of tattoos, piercings, implants etc.?
I really liked the character of you but it was a little too busy for a front cover. What if you did something that was a combination of the mods all together? Or a tattoo of piercings? I don't know. These might be dumb ideas but I thought maybe they would spark a better idea for you. I would say just post a bunch of them on here so we can give you really fast feedback. I check this thing a lot so I will be able to give you advice atleast.
ReplyDeleteI am suggesting different types of tattoos, implants....for the front cover and the back cover to have the different faces. I feel that this will give people more information about what is inside the book.
